Spring SciX 2020, 2 – 9 April, University of Liverpool, UK

Spring SciX is a UK-based meeting of the successful SciX series, highlighting progress on emergent research topics related to analytical chemistry, including molecular spectroscopy, Raman Spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, infrared (IR) spectroscopy, surface plasmon resonance (SPR), process analytical chemistry, fluorescence, bioanalytical and biomedical, and analytical sciences. Chemistry Conference for Young Scientists (ChemCYS), Belgium, February 2020

RSC Advances is very pleased to be sponsoring the Chemistry Conference for Young Scientists (ChemCYS) in Blankenberge, Belgium, 19 – 21 February 2020.

ChemCYS is organised by the Royal Flemish Chemical Society (KVCV) and endorsed by the European Chemical Society (EuChemS) and the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC). It gives young attendees the opportunity to present early results of their research from a variety of subjects, including analytical chemistry, biochemistry and biotechnology, environmental chemistry, food chemistry, macromolecular chemistry, medicinal chemistry and many more!

The 19th International Symposium on Silicon Chemistry (ISOS XIX), Toulouse, July 2020

Congratulations to the Poster Prize Winners at the Brazilian Catalysis Meeting!

RSC Advances would like to congratulate the poster prize winners at this year’s Brazilian Catalysis Meeting which took place 1 – 5 September in São Paulo, Brazil.

Dalton Transactions Advisory Board member and Associate Editor for NJC Jairton Dupont, RSC Advances Editorial Board Member Heloise Oliveira Pastore & Editor in Chief of Catalysis Science & Technology Javier Perez-Ramirez were all in attendance.

Dalton Transactions, NJC, RSC Advances, Chemical Communications, Catalysis Science & Technology and PCCP were delighted to offer 4 poster prizes. Heloise and Javier presented the poster prizes to the winners and each receiving a Royal Society of Chemistry Certificate & Book Voucher.

Congratulations to the 16th Chinese Symposium on Photochemistry, CCS Poster Prize Winners!

The 16th Chinese Symposium on Photochemistry, Chinese Chemical Society, was held in October at Shandong Normal University. The opening ceremony was chaired by Wang Xuesong with Professor Li-Zhu Wu chairing the closing ceremony. The topics covered during the conference included: solar energy conversion, photochemical synthesis, supramolecular photochemistry, biophotochemistry, environmental and atmospheric photochemistry, theoretical photochemistry, spectroscopy, photofunctional materials and other frontier disciplines that intersect photochemistry.

RSC Advances, Journal of Materials Chemistry A & Inorganic Chemistry Frontiers were pleased to sponsor 8 poster prizes.

Congratulations to the International Metal Complexes in Imaging and Detection RSC Advances Poster Prize Winners!

The Institute of Metals in Biology of Grenoble organized their 8th International Conference on International Metal Complexes in Imaging and Detection on 24-27 September 2019 in Villard de Lans.  The conference was a success and ran smoothly in the beautiful surroundings of the Vercours Mountains near Grenoble. It covered all aspects of the use of metal complexes in biological imaging and detection, including: Spectroscopy (fluorescence X), Radiolabeling, emission tomography, Luminescence, Magnetic Resonance imaging (MRI), Contrast agents for PARACEST and In cellulo detection.
