Poster prize winners at IEEE NANO 2015

Dr Kim

Many congratulations to Antonio Maffucci and Kyung Rok Kim for winning the Nanoscale Horizons poster prizes at IEEE NANO 2015.

Antonio, from  the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, and Kyung Rok Kim, from Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology, and their co-authors won prizes for their posters entitled “Carbon-Based Power Delivery Networks for Nanoscale ICs: Electrothermal Performance Analysis” and “FinHEMT: FinFET-based High Electron Mobility Transistor with Strained Silicon Channel”, respectively.

Prof. Maffucci

IEEE NANO 2015 took place from 27th to 30th July 2015 at the Angelicum Congress Centre, Rome,  Italy. The conference is organised by the University of Tor Vergata and Sapienza University of Rome, and aims to provide an international forum for the exchange of technical information in a wide variety of branches of nanotechnology and nanoscience, through feature tutorials, workshops, and track sessions; plenary and invited talks from the world most renowned scientists and engineers; exhibition of software, hardware, equipment, materials, services and literature. Further details are available on the conference website.

Nanoscale Horizons is ready for your research!

Following the launch of our new journal in March, we can now announce that Nanoscale Horizons is open for submissions. And we want to hear from you.

We’re looking for high impact work in fields ranging from physics and chemistry to IT, healthcare and detection science.

It’s a deliberately broad scope, designed to span our community and develop the bridge between the various disciplines involved with nanoscience and nanotechnology. And because we will only publish first reports of exceptional significance, every article will be a field leader.

Ready and waiting for your work

We know what’s important when choosing where to submit your research:

  • Fast and efficient publication
  • Simple and user-friendly online submission process
  • High visibility and far-reaching exposure
  • Positioning alongside other high-quality research in this field

If you publish with us, you will also receive:

  • free use of colour
  • no page charges or limits
  • Open Access publishing options.

Don’t forget, content published during 2016 and 2017 is free upon registration – giving maximum visibility to your work. And guided by an Editorial Board which includes Xiaodong Chen, Dirk Guldi and Harold Craighead as Editorial Board Chair, this is a high profile platform.
