The new themed collection for Food & Function on the 9th International Conference on Polyphenols and Health (ICPH) is now published.

This themed collection, guest edited by Kevin Croft and Cesar Fraga, features invited contributions from the conference which ran at the end of last year from November 28th to December 1st in Kobe, Japan.

3rd International Conference on Food Bioactives & Health

The 3rd International Conference on Food Bioactives & Health will be held in Parma, Italy, 16-19 June 2020.

The topics addressed by FBHC2020 have been broadened to cover a wide range of topics on food bioactives and health, including (poly)phenols, carotenoids, glucosinolates & other organosulfur compounds, fatty acids & sterols, polysaccharides, and peptides & protein. In addition, a session will be devoted to toxic compounds, an often overlooked topic that is important from a holistic perspective in the role of food bioactives and their impact on human health.

Are you going to the 9th International Conference on Polyphenols and Health in Kobe, Japan?

Will you be at the 9th International Conference on Polyphenols and Health (ICPH), in Japan this December?

ICPH2019 is the 9th International Conference on Polyphenols and Health and will be running in Kobe, Japan Nov 28-Dec 1, 2019. ICPH has become the most important international event to comprehensively deal with polyphenols and their various beneficial functions for health. This year it has adopted the theme “Basic and Human Studies to Reach Our Goal”.

Running concurrently, ICoFF2019/ISNFF2019, have adopted the theme, “Food Factor Science from Molecular to Human Studies”. The conferences will offer opportunities to exchange scientific ideas and create networks between people from academia, industry and regulatory authorities, as well as between young and established scientists and professionals.

The 7th International Conference on Food Factors -Kobe, Japan

The 7th International Conference on Food Factors(ICoFF2019) and the 12th International Conference and Exhibition on Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods (ISNFF2019) will be in Kobe, Japan, this December.
ICoFF posterWith the mission of promoting research into all aspects of basic and applied Food and Nutritional Science, ICoFF held its first conference in 1995 and has continued to hold every four years. ICoFF is one of the largest international conferences for researchers, scientists, professors and students in the field of food factors and their health-promoting effects. ISNFF, founded in 2007, has been focusing on the research and development on materials that can be used as functional foods. ICoFF2019/ISNFF2019, has adopted the theme, “Food Factor Science from Molecular to Human Studies”.

The conferences will offer opportunities to exchange scientific ideas and create networks between people from academia, industry and regulatory authorities, as well as between young and established scientists and professionals.

8th International Symposium on “Delivery of Functionality in Complex Food Systems”

The 8th International Symposium on “Delivery of Functionality in Complex Food Systems” is on 7-10 July, in Porto, Portugal.

This series of Symposia have managed to gather, throughout the years, an interdisciplinary team of scientists from different research areas (food science and engineering, biophysics, applied soft matter, food technology, applied human nutrition) and very different proveniences (from academia, industry and young researchers) and places around the World.

Being the 8th symposium of the series, DOF2019 will not be an exception to this rule and we have prepared an exciting program that addresses the most recent developments in the area, featuring three main themes:

  • Food Structures for Delivery of Functionality
  • Safety and efficacy of delivery systems
  • Healthy food design: is multi-functionality the right way forward?
