The 4th Ion Mobility Mass Spectrometry BMSS SIG meeting (IMMS 2016) will be held at the Institute of Structural and Molecular Biology at Birbeck College London on the 4th July 2016.

As with previous SPEC conferences, Analyst is proud to be publishing a themed issue to feature papers from the conference and to highlight the latest advances in diagnosis and novel biomedical applications of infrared and Raman spectroscopy.

• Submitted papers can be based on oral or poster presentations given at the meeting
• There will be no upper limit to the number of papers an author can submit
• All submissions will be subject to initial assessment and peer review in the usual manner and must meet the usual standards and requirements for the journal
• This themed issue is scheduled to be published in early 2017

The deadline for submission is 26th August 2016.
