Launched in the Summer, our Gold for Gold pilot, enabling RSC Gold subscribers in the UK to publish RSC papers free-of-charge via Gold Open Access (OA), was a direct reaction to researchers being asked to publish OA, but without necessarily having the funding to do so.
Following the pilot’s popularity (at least 5 high-profile institutions have already taken advantage of Gold for Gold) we don’t want others to miss out. So, from now on, all RSC Gold subscribing institutions will be rewarded with voucher codes to publish OA articles at no cost.
This is an excellent opportunity for authors to increase the visibility of your quality research.
