First Articles now Available from RSC Pharmaceutics
We are excited to announce that the first articles from RSC Pharmaceutics, one of the Royal Society of Chemistry’s newest journals, have recently been published. The gold open access journal is a home for papers covering emerging technologies and techniques in pharmaceutics, including drug delivery, precision medicine, and enhanced drug targeting. To celebrate the journal’s launch, all article processing charges are waived until mid-2026, allowing any author to publish open access for free.

The new journal, headed by Co-Editors-in-Chief Professor James Batteas (Texas A&M University) and Professor Tomislav Friščić (University of Birmingham), is the first journal to focus on mechanical forces in chemistry and welcomes research across all areas of theoretical and experimental chemistry (organic, inorganic, polymer, supramolecular, and biological) as well as related fields where mechanochemical processes are at work.
The journal is also Gold Open Access, with all article processing charges waived until mid-2026, making the journal free to publish and free to read.

Announcing New RSC Journals
We are pleased to introduce three new RSC journals: EES Catalysis, RSC Sustainability, and Sustainable Food Technology.
All three journals are gold open access, and will have their article processing fees (APCs) waived until mid-2025, so you can publish your research openly without cost. Submissions will open for each journal in Summer 2022.
