Now open for submissions: RSC Mechanochemistry

We are proud to announce that one of the Royal Society of Chemistry’s newest journals, RSC Mechanochemistry, is now open for submissions!

The new journal, headed by Co-Editors-in-Chief  Professor James Batteas (Texas A&M University) and Professor Tomislav Friščić (University of Birmingham), is the first journal to focus on mechanical forces in chemistry and welcomes research across all areas of theoretical and experimental chemistry (organic, inorganic, polymer, supramolecular, and biological) as well as related fields where mechanochemical processes are at work.

The journal is also Gold Open Access, with all article processing charges waived until mid-2026, making the journal free to publish and free to read.

If you are interested in learning more about the journal’s scope, editorial board, or would like to submit your own groundbreaking work, click here to read more on the journal’s website.
