The inside front cover features work by Mireille Blanchard-Desce and Olivier Mongin from the University of Rennes on design and synthesis of dual-role biphotonic chromophores. The ability to preserve their fluorescence property makes novel banana-shaped fluorophores very attractive molecules for photodynamic therapy (TPA).
