10th International Conference on Hybrid and Organic Photovoltaics (HOPV-18)

Between 28-31 May 2018, the 10th International Conference on Hybrid and Organic Photovoltaics (HOPV-18) will be taking place in Benidorm, Spain. The main topics of this conference are the development, function and modeling of materials and devices for hybrid and organic solar cells, including perovskite solar cells, organic solar cells, quantum dot solar cells, and dye-sensitized solar cells together with their integration into devices for photolelectrochemical water splitting.

HOPV-18 is being co-organised by Sustainable Energy & Fuels Advisory Board member Emilio Palomares and will also feature Energy & Environmental Science Editorial Board member Jenny Nelson and Sustainable Energy & Fuels Associate Editor Vincent Artero, both as Invited Speakers at the event.

Both Sustainable Energy & Fuels and Energy & Environmental Science, along with Molecular Systems Design & Engineering, are sponsoring HOPV-18 and will be providing awards for the best poster submissions. The deadline for poster abstract submissions is 30 March 2018.

Novel Materials for Energy Conversion and Optoelectronics

Energy & Environmental Science and Sustainable Energy & Fuels are delighted to be supporting the International Conference on Novel Materials for Energy Conversion and Optoelectronics taking place in Santa Fe, United States, between 11-12 December 2018.

The scope of the conference covers a broad range of research directions related to novel materials for applications in energy conversion and optoelectronics ranging from photovoltaics and photoelectrochemical and photocatalytic production of solar fuels, to sensing and light emission in electroluminescent devices and lasers. Particular emphasis is on understanding the relationship between the structural properties of materials and their function in final devices, which is key to fostering further advances in device performance. Consequently, novel theoretical and characterization tools represent topics of keen interest to this conference.

Important dates for NEWE18 are:
  • Early registration deadline: 12th August 2018
  • Abstracts submission deadline (oral): 12th August 2018
  • Abstracts submission deadline (poster): 10th November 2018
  • Scientific program: 6th September 2018
  • Social dinner: 11th December 2018
