Today saw the launch of the new RSC Publishing platform which provides access to nearly one million journal articles and book chapters through one simple, integrated search.
So how will the new platform benefit you?

- Find the right content fast through filtered searching which allows you faster access to relevant information by displaying authors and RSC publications that have published related work
- Share & recommend research with tools such as Facebook, Twitter and Google
- Register and create a personalised account which allows you to store searches and receive search results as alerts
Project Manager and Electronic Publisher Graham McCann explains the processes and project priorities: “We created the new platform in consultation with the international scientific and librarian community by running a beta version alongside the existing RSC Publishing website. Everybody had the chance to actively contribute by submitting their feedback and ideas.”

“I really like the ability to do a search by specific month. I also like the filters, in particular the possibility to specify a journal.”
“It looks pretty slick for accessing the eBooks. I especially like the variety of “Browse by” features (series, subject, year, new) and the related books & article links. The same author feature is fun since it lets you easily move between the author’s monograph and journal literature.”
