Polymer Chemistry and Soft Matter were delighted to award Poster Prizes at the European Polymer Congress 2019.
The Polymer Chemistry certificate and €200 cash prize for best poster was awarded to Eline Laurent (Institut Charles Sadron) for her poster on ‘Design Of Optimal Sequence-Coded Polyphosphodiesters For Digital Applications’. The award was presented by Professor Spiros Anastasiadis (IESL and University of Crete).
The Soft Matter certificates for best posters were awarded to Fatemeh Rezaei (Ghent University) for her poster on ‘Fabrication of Poly Lactic Acid Nanofibers Containing Silver Nanoparticles via Pre-electrospinning Plasma Treatment’, Charalampos Pronoitis (KTH Royal Institute of Technology) for his poster ‘Renewable ethylene brassylate as monomer for the synthesis of biobased thermoplastic and thermoset polyamides with tuneable properties’ and Nina Maria Ainali (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) for her poster on ‘Collagen based scaffolds for improved topical therapeutic effect on psoriasis’.
