2023 Analyst and JAAS Emerging Investigator Lectureships Nominations are Open

We are pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2023 Emerging Investigator Lectureships for Analyst and JAAS (Journal of Analytical Atomic Spectroscopy). Read below for more information:

 

2023 Analyst Emerging Investigator Lectureship

The Analyst Emerging Investigator Lectureship is awared annually and recognizes early career researchers, typically within 10 years of earning their PhD, who have made a significant contribution to analytical chemistry in their independent academic career.

The winner will receive the opportunity to present a lecture at a leading international meeting, with a contribution of up to £2,000 to cover associated travel and accommodation costs.

The Lectureship will be selected by the Analyst Editoral Board from a shortlist of nominees. Candidates must have completed their PhD, have published in Analyst in the past 3 years, actively be working in a research area within the scope of Analyst, and be at an early stage of their independent career.

2023 JAAS Emerging Investigator Lectureship

The JAAS Emerging Investigator Lectureship is awared annually and recognizes early career researchers, typically within 10 years of earning their PhD, who have made a significant contribution to the area of atomic spectroscopy in their independent academic career.

The winner will receive the opportunity to present a lecture at a leading international meeting, with a contribution of up to £2,000 to cover associated travel and accommodation costs. They will also receive free RSC membership for one year.

The Lectureship will be selected by the JAAS Editoral Board from a shortlist of nominees. Candidates must have completed their PhD, have previously published in JAAS, actively be working in a research area within the scope of JAAS, and be at an early stage of their independent career.
