The FIU Center for Translational Science 5th Annual South Florida Translational Research Symposium took place at Florida International University, USA, on the 9th and 10th of April 2026. The symposium featured excellent plenary talks on congenital heart disease, lung injury, stroke, and bench to bedside research. Our RSC Pharmaceutics Editorial Member, Dr Heidi Mansour attended this conference, and RSC Pharmaceutics was delighted to sponsor four prizes for the undergraduate, medical student, post graduate and postdoctoral poster winners:
