Nanoscale Issue 6 of 2014 out now!

Nanoscale is delighted to present its current issue.

Rupture mechanism of liquid crystal thin films realized by large-scale molecular simulations is the article highlighted on the outside front cover by Trung Dac Nguyen, Jan-Michael Y. Carrillo, Michael A. Matheson and W. Michael Brown.

The inside front cover features an article on Nanohybrids from NiCoAl-LDH coupled with carbon for pseudocapacitors: understanding the role of nano-structured carbon by Chang Yu, Juan Yang, Changtai Zhao, Xiaoming Fan, Gang Wang and Jieshan Qiu.

Issue 6 contains the following Feature and Mini-review articles:

Metal-seeded growth of III–V semiconductor nanowires: towards gold-free synthesis
Kimberly A. Dick and Philippe Caroff

Energy transfer processes in dye-doped nanostructures yield cooperative and versatile fluorescent probes
Damiano Genovese, Enrico Rampazzo, Sara Bonacchi, Marco Montalti, Nelsi Zaccheroni and Luca Prodi

A review of production methods of carbon nanotube and graphene thin films for electrothermal applications
D. Janas and K. K. Koziol
