ICM Indexed in ESCI: A Key Step Toward Global Recognition and Impact

We are thrilled to announce that Industrial Chemistry & Materials (ICM) has officially been indexed in the Web of Science: Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) as of November 2024. ESCI is a prestigious database that indexes high-quality, peer-reviewed journals that are emerging as leaders in their respective fields. Being included in ESCI signifies ICM’s growing academic reputation and its commitment to advancing research in the fields of industrial chemistry and materials science.

The Development Timeline of ICM

The inclusion of ICM in ESCI represents a major milestone in the journal’s development, demonstrating its international authoritative recognition for academic quality, wide-reaching influence, and commitment to rigorous publishing standards. This achievement also lays a strong foundation for the journal’s future impact, with expectations that ICM will receive its first impact factor in 2025. At this moment, we are pleased to announce that, beginning in 2025, ICM will transition to a bimonthly publication schedule, empowering us to better serve our ever-growing community of authors and readers with greater efficiency.

We are deeply grateful to our editorial board members, authors, reviewers and readers for their continued support. Together, we look forward to achieving even greater milestones in the years to come.
