The RSC celebrates 1000 eBooks in its collection with the publication of “Nucleic Acid Biosensors for Environmental Pollution Monitoring”.
The eBook Collection launched in 2007 with over 750 eBooks dating from the earliest published in 1968 (Carbohydrate Chemistry Vol 1) to the current day. Since then we have continued to add to this total and have now passed the milestone of 1000 eBooks equating to over 25,000 chapters and 44 Gigabytes of Data!
The Collection is wide-ranging in scope with all titles included from our successful Professional Reference series and our 40+ year archive of Specialist Periodical Reports, along with key Proceedings and educational Texts.
Roheena Anand, RSC Books Publisher said “We launched the eBook Collection following the growing demand for online material from our customers. As librarians are moving more of their journal holdings from print to electronic, they are now looking for the same space-saving capabilities and ease of access from their book holdings. Publication of our 1000th eBook means the Collection continues to be both a current and definitive point of reference across the chemical sciences and beyond.”
