TERMIS-AM Meeting is an annual meeting which aims at bringing together researchers, trainees, and administrators from academia, government, and industry to discuss the latest up-to-date developments in the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. This year’s theme is “Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine: Personalized and Precise Science, Engineering, and Translation,” reflecting one the of the fastest developing fields in the medical market.
Editor-in-Chief Professor Jennifer Elisseeff and Deputy Editor Dr. Laura Fisher will be present at TERMIS-AM, 11-14 December 2016, San Diego, US.
Jennifer is currently Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Orthopedic Surgery at Johns Hopkins and directs the Cell and Tissue Engineering Program in Biomedical Engineering. Jennifer was elected a fellow in the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering and a Young Global Leader in the World Economic Forum. She has a long history of significant contributions to the tissue engineering field with over 110 articles, book chapters and patent applications and we are delighted that she has joined the Biomaterials Science team as Editor-in-Chief.
Laura has a PhD in Chemistry (2011, University of Bath), and worked as a postdoc at Stellenbosch University before joining the Royal Society of Chemistry. As a Deputy Editor, Laura works on the management and development of Biomaterials Science and a small number of other related journals.
