We are delighted to introduce our new themed collection titled Nanoclusters – From Theory to Application!

Guest Edited by Yi Gao (Shanghai Advanced Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China), Daojian Cheng (Beijing University of Chemical Technology, China) and Zhigang Wang (Jilin University, China).

 

 

This themed collection in Nanoscale Advances focuses on nanoparticles with unique and tuneable properties depending on their sizes, structures, and compositions.

Call for papers: Supramolecular Chirality in Self-organised Systems and Thin Films

Contribute to a new themed collection in Nanoscale Advances

We are delighted to announce an open call for papers to our new themed collection focusing on supramolecular chirality in self-organised systems and thin films.

Guest Editors: Professor Ludovico Valli, Professor Simona Bettini, and Professor Gabriele Giancane, all from University of Salento, Italy.

This collection aims to investigate the fascinating world of chiral self-organisation and its applications in various scientific fields. The collection explores the fundamental principles, theoretical models, and experimental techniques that contribute to the understanding of supramolecular chirality in self-organised systems and thin films and aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current advancements and future prospects in this exciting field. Potential topics of this collection include but are not limited to:

  • Aggregation
  • Asymmetric synthesis
  • Asymmetry
  • Bio-applications of chiral structures

Contribute to a new themed collection in Nanoscale Advances

We are delighted to announce an open call for papers to our new themed collection focusing on Nanoclusters: From Theory to Application.

 

Guest Editors: Yi Gao (Shanghai Advanced Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China), Daojian Cheng (Beijing University of Chemical Technology, China) and Zhigang Wang (Jilin University, China).

 

Nanoclusters are small-sized nanoparticles with unique and tunable properties depending on their sizes, structures and compositions. They have potential applications in various fields such as biomedicine, catalysis, energy and nanotechnology. This themed collection is intended to present the most recent developments in the synthesis, characterization, and application of nanoclusters in theoretical and experimental research. It will cover topics such as nanocluster stability, electronic structures, reactivity, magnetism, optical properties, alloying effects, self-assembly and functionalization. The collection will also highlight the challenges and opportunities for nanocluster research and development.

 

You are welcome to submit an original research article within the scope before 31 October 2023.

Congratulations to the poster prize winners at RSC Chemical Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Symposium

Nanoscale Horizons, Nanoscale and Nanoscale Advances were delighted to sponsor poster prizes at the RSC Chemical Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Network Annual Symposium. The symposium took place on 26 and 27 January 2023 at Burlington House in London and welcomed around 100 attendees.

The meeting covered recent developments in fundamentals and applications of novel materials, providing an opportunity for nanoscience and nanotechnology researchers to engage and exchange information. It included plenary lectures, invited talks, contributed presentations, and poster sessions.

We congratulate all poster prize winners!
