8th Symposium for Young Scholars in Colloid and Interface Science

RSC Applied Interfaces was delighted to support the 8th Symposium for Young Scholars in Colloid and Interface Science which took place in Xi’an, China on 24 – 25 January 2026.

Organized by the Colloid and Interface Chemistry Committee of the CCS and hosted by the Frontier Institute of Science and Technology at Xi’an Jiaotong University, the event featured excellent young scholars delivering high quality presentations to a panel of key field leaders, which included Professor Yu Fang (Advisory Board member). Associate Editor, Professor Jianbin Huang chaired the opening ceremony of the meeting and Dr Guanqun Song attended to deliver a talk to attendees about publishing in RSC Applied Interfaces.

Alongside general sponsorship of the event, we were honoured to support 4 awards for presentations delivered during the meeting. Congratulations to the winners!

  • Professor Jiwei Cui, Shandong University
  • Professor Gang He, Xi’an Jiao Tong University
  • Professor Lingxiang Jiang, South China University of Technology
  • Professor Yingjie Wu, Harbin Institute of Technology

Thank you to everyone who took part and to the organisers who made the meeting such an great event.
