The journal is dedicated to publishing significant innovative research and major technological breakthroughs in all aspects of industrial chemistry and materials, focusing on the important innovation of the low-carbon chemical industry, energy and functional materials. By bringing researchers, engineers, and policymakers into one place, research is inspired, challenges are solved and the applications of science and technology are accelerated.
WHY IS ICM? “Industrial” signifies our focus on application-driven research, addressing the fundamental needs of social development. “Chemistry” emphasizes understanding the chemical mechanisms at the molecular level within industrial processes. “Materials” represents a rapidly evolving field, and the most fundamental purpose of developing chemistry and chemical engineering is to create substances, which form the foundation of human life and production. We aim for ICM to bridge the gap between academic research and industrial application, accelerating the transformation of scientific discoveries into practical solutions.
