Will you be at SPEC 2016 on June 25-30 in Montreal, Canada?

This international conference series brings together clinicians and scientists who are developing and improving innovative pre-clinical and clinical applications of vibrational spectroscopy that can lead to health care delivery improvements.

If you are attending the meeting, why not find me and have a chat about Analyst, the Royal Society of Chemistry, and publishing in general, and let me explain why our journals are the best home for your research.

Analyst will be sponsoring a poster prize this year, so good luck to all the entrants!

Rebecca Brodie Rebecca Brodie

Deputy Editor, Analyst, Analytical Methods, JAAS.

Please feel free to get in touch with me before the conference to arrange a meeting.

As with previous SPEC conferences, Analyst is proud to be publishing a themed issue to feature papers from the conference and to highlight the latest advances in diagnosis and novel biomedical applications of infrared and Raman spectroscopy.

  • Submitted papers can be based on oral or poster presentations given at the meeting
  • There will be no upper limit to the number of papers an author can submit
  • All submissions will be subject to initial assessment and peer review in the usual manner and must meet the usual standards and requirements for the journal
  • This themed issue is scheduled to be published in early 2017

The deadline for submission is 26th August 2016.

I look forward to meeting you in Canada!
