Energy Advances proudly sponsored the 2nd international MXene Conference held at Drexel University, US, at the start of August over three days. The conference aimed to showcase major MXene discoveries while bringing the technological potential of MXenes to the attention of industries, federal and state governments, funding agencies, and decision-makers.
The event was also attended by Editorial Board Member and Associate Editor Professor Michael Naguib, one of the inventors of MXenes. “As the MXenes community continues to grow, it was timely and necessary to get together and discuss challenges and opportunities for MXenes in several fields, including energy” explains Professor Naguib. “This will help to establish a roadmap for MXenes research in the coming years.”
