Energy Advances Announcement: Wai-Yeung (Raymond) Wong, our new Editorial Board Member

We are very pleased to announce that Wai-Yeung (Raymond) Wong has joined Energy Advances as an Associate Editor.

Raymond is a Chair Professor in Chemical Technology at the Department of Applied Biology & Chemical Technology of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He obtained his B.Sc. (Hons.) and Ph.D. degrees from The University of Hong Kong and after postdoctoral works at Texas A&M University (Advisor: Prof. F. A. Cotton) and the University of Cambridge (Advisors: Profs. The Lord Lewis and P. R. Raithby), he joined Hong Kong Baptist University from 1998 to 2016.

He has worked closely with the Royal Society of Chemistry for many years, serving as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Materials Chemistry C from 2013-2022. He was also awarded the RSC Chemistry of the Transition Metals Award, FACS Distinguished Young Chemist Award, State Natural Science Award from China, and RGC Senior Research Fellow Award, among others and is currently currently the Chairman of Hong Kong Chemical Society.

His research mainly focuses on organometallic and materials chemistry, especially aiming at developing multifunctional molecules and polymers for organic optoelectronics, energy science and metal-based nanomaterials.
