The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ), Tarragonna, Spain, is hosting a summer school on organometallic catalysis in July.

The idea of the meeting is to bring together young researchers and distinguished chemists working in organometallic catalysis.

Dr Jamie Humphrey, Catalysis Science & Technology Managing Editor, will be attending and speaking on how best to prepare an article for publication. The Catalysis Science & Technology poster prize was awarded to Zhao Chao from the University of Birmingham, for a poster entitled “Hydrothermal Synthesis and Ion Exchange Properties of New Zinc Phosphonate Materials”
