Highlight on solar energy conversion and photovoltaics at Energy Advances

Renewable energy technologies like solar energy are of the utmost importance to achieving the UN SDGs and so we are proud that our Editorial Board includes an expert in this area: Professor Anita Ho-Baillie. Professor Ho-Baillie’s research focuses on solar photovoltaic materials and devices including single junctions and multi-junction tandems and, as one of our Associate Editors, she handles a portion of our papers from submission to decision.

We also wanted to highlight recent publications in Energy Advances which are relevant to solar energy conversion and photovoltaics research:

Simple approach for an electron extraction layer in an all-vacuum processed n-i-p perovskite solar cell by Beom-Soo Kim and Henk J. Bolink et al.

Stabilizing all-inorganic CsPbI3 perovskite films with polyacrylonitrile for photovoltaic solar cells by  Ke-Jian Jiang, Yiqiang Zhang, Yanlin Song et al.

Assessing the effect of surface states of mesoporous NiO films on charge transport and unveiling an unexpected light response phenomenon in tandem dye-sensitized solar cells by Haining Tian et al.
