On June 17, Clarivate officially released the 2025 Journal Citation Reports (JCR), and we are delighted to announce that Industrial Chemistry & Materials (ICM) has achieved a new Impact Factor of 15.7!
ICM is ranked 8/183 in ENGINEERING, CHEMICAL (Top 4.4%, Q1), and 38/472 in MATERIALS SCIENCE, MULTIDISCIPLINARY (Top 8.1%, Q1). Founded in February 2023, ICM received its first Impact Factor of 11.9 in 2025. The journal has now surpassed 2.3 million total article downloads, three times higher than the same period last year.
The rapid development of the journal would not have been possible without the academic guidance of our editorial board members, the high-quality contributions of our authors, the rigorous evaluations of our reviewers, and the continued support of our readers.
