Accessing the Inorganic Crystal Structure Database through the Chemical Database Service

The Inorganic Crystal Structure Database (ICSD) will be available initially via the Chemical Database Service by providing access via the web-based interface to ICSD. This is a start point for our support of crystallographic data that will be enhanced with additional development during the lifetime of the project.

At what point will it become possible to download CIFs fron the ICSD? Ar present it immediately goes to “download limit exceded”. This is a key aspect of accessing and using the databases.

  2. Mark…we initiated discussions with the ICSD help desk last week but are yet to resolve the problem. It remains our highest priority issue at present on the released system but there are a couple of other little bugs that I will report tonight. Apologies for the inconvenience. Best wishes.

Just to note this is now fixed
